An overview
Join us for an intentional yoga and meditation retreat in beautiful Todos Santos, Mexico, open to all women and those who identify as women. Imagine Baja sunrises and sunsets at the Pacific Ocean, daily yoga classes, enjoying local fares, site seeing, a relaxed way of being, and an opportunity to rest into your true nature, returning to your daily life feeling more balanced and refreshed.
The retreat will be held at Quinta Santa Rosa Hotel- a boutique hotel, located just a 10 minute walk from the Todos Santos town center and about a mile and half to the ocean. Quinta Santa Rosa features a pool, hot tub, full bar, restaurant, and lounge chairs for you to enjoy during your retreat. The retreat center has eight rooms and during the retreat, we will offer three single occupancy and four double (or triple) occupancy to our guests. Each day will start with an hour long, silent walking meditation to the ocean. As we walk, we will take each step fully so that it is present and mindful. As we arrive at the beach, we will first let the waves wash away the day before and then bring in an intention for the day. This practice introduces another form of meditation, showing each student that meditation can look many different ways. How lucky are we to have this opportunity to connect with our earth’s waters in this way! Shortly after returning, we will begin yoga practice, followed by a simple breakfast including fresh local fruit, granola, eggs, and other options.
Each afternoon there is ample free time so that, if you wish, you may explore the local area. Quinta Santa Rosa Hotel is just a short 10 minute walk into Todos Santos, where you will find art galleries, coffee shops, shopping, local fare, and other activities. You can also spend your free time at Quinta Santa Rosa, lounging by the pool, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the bar/restaurant or occupying one of the plenty of sweet spots to relax with a book or journal. You will have the option to schedule a massage from a knowledgeable practitioner or a Reiki session with the instructor, if you would like to deepen your experience.
In short, this is a retreat for those who are seeking a reset and to experience a possible personal transformation in a comfortable and open environment. As this is an alcohol/meat friendly retreat, it is also a retreat for those who wish to retreat without restrictions, in a responsible and mindful way. When you carve out time for yourself and your practice, you will experience how retreating is a path of collective care; giving you the inner resource to support the way you want to move in the world.
Benefits of attending a retreat
This retreat will allow you to unplug from your stresses and responsibilities. We encourage you to fast from electronics, newsfeeds, and social media while attending the retreat, so that you may remember what is really important to you. You will get the time you need for introspection so that you can reset and come home to yourself. You’ll go deeper into your yoga and mindfulness practices and learn to create new habits. You will also be part of an open and inclusive community of those who are seeking the same. Our hope is that you will cultivate a deeper sense of your yoga and meditation practice and leave feeling rested and restored…and possibly even make a few new friends!

9:30-10:30am- breakfast
10:30am-12:30pm- free time*
12:30-1:30pm- lunch (on your own or at the retreat center)
1:30-5pm- free time*
5:15-6:30pm- yoga and meditation
6:45-8:30pm- dinner
Ideally bedtime by 10pm
*Free time is a great chance to explore the local area, receive a Reiki or massage treatment, swim, read, and enjoy the facilities at the hotel. There are two workshops during the retreat that will affect this schedule*

Costs associated with passports (required) airfare, flight changes, airline baggage fees for any and all baggage, medical and travel insurance, gratuities and taxes for personal services (massage, Reiki, bar) must be met by the participant.

A nonrefundable $500 deposit secures your place in the retreat. The full amount is due 45 days prior to the start date of the retreat. Refunds will be granted as per the International Yoga Retreat Agreement and Release of Liability.
